Susan Carscadden-Mifsud has a passion for handbells. She is one of Canada’s most accomplished handbell soloists, a noted conductor, and a clinician who has shared her expertise and love of ringing with directors and choirs across Canada. Based in Ingersoll, Ontario, Susan is the sole proprietor of Handbell Graces.

Susan directs 3 handbell ensembles: Bellissima Ringers Handbell Quartet, Bells Ablaze (an advanced ensemble of 12 ringers from all across Southwestern Ontario) and the Thamesford Handbell Choir, a community group.

In August 2008, Susan was selected as the conductor to represent Canada at the International Handbell Symposium in Orlando, Florida. After successfully auditioning, she was chosen as one of four soloists to present a recital at Pinnacle, an American event showcasing advanced ringers, in Nashville (July 2010).

She has given numerous solo recitals throughout Ontario and has been a conductor and workshop leader at many provincial, national and international handbell events.
